Introduction
To enhance knowledge on artifact accessioning and its practice for the 11 museum members in the NTU Museums, TAIDA Museum Provisional Office held two workshops in collection accessioning. The first workshop on Oct. 15 focused on accession numbers—including the numbering method, subject, and card catalog—and filling out the table on the accession form. The second workshop on Nov. 1 covered collection inspection and museum record photography. Under the guidance of the speaker, the museum members were able to share their thoughts and challenges encountered during the accessioning for various collections, such as animal, insect, mineral, and botany specimens, as well as scientific instruments, artwork, photos, documents, and books.
