Introduction
In this online lecture, we have invited Yen Su-fen, Director of the National Palace Museum’s Department of Registration and Conservation, to introduce us to artifact conservation and other examples in universities/university museums. We hope the lecture may be able to provide support and insight to staff and faculty with conserving and maintaining aged objects.
About the Speaker
Ms. Yen Su-fen graduated from the Department of Agricultural Chemistry at NTU. After earning a PhD in agricultural chemistry, she started working at the National Palace Museum in 1992, where she has been dedicating her time to the heritage conservation field. Specializing in museum conservation and conservation science, she holds teaching positions at various local museums and artifact conservation-related departments
